The short version: the games are free, there are no ads, and nothing you do here is sold. You can play without an account. If you make one, we keep what's needed to run it.

What we collect

Account (optional). Your email and password, plus a display name. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Authentication, so we never see or store your password in readable form.
Game activity, only if you're signed in. Your results (so your stats follow you between devices) and the targets, puzzles and matchups you save.
On your device. Without an account, your host name, saved targets and settings stay in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics for simple counts: which pages and game modes are used, roughly where visitors come from (country, referring site) and what kind of device they use. It does not use cookies or follow you across other sites.

What other people can see

Public saved targets are listed in the shared library with your display name next to them. Your display name can also appear on leaderboards.
Friends only saved targets are hidden from the library and can only be opened with their link. Treat the link like a private video link: anyone you send it to can play it, and can pass it on.
Your email is never shown to other players.

Who handles the data

Supabase stores accounts, results and saved games.
Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics above.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google to load them.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Your choices

Play without an account and nothing leaves your device except the analytics counts above.
To have your account and saved games deleted, contact us (below) from the email address on the account.
These games aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

About the stats

Player statistics come from public sources: nflverse, the Chadwick Bureau / Baseball Databank and Basketball-Reference, plus Pro Football Reference fantasy tables for 1970–1998 NFL offense. BYOB Gauntlet isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NFL, MLB, the NBA, or any team or player.
